A few months ago, I was working with this little girl. We were playing with tiny plastic farm toys that I had bought from the store. In the kit were these four fence pieces. The child immediately put them together to make a little corral and started to move the animals into it. It occurred to me that fences could be much more than just plain, brown, and boring. They could be dynamic, and add to a teacher's, or parent's tool-kit. Add them to your kiddo's playset. They can learn shapes, and colors while creating dynamic boundaries in their play-spaces.
